Movie Rental – Video 9
Posted in Stores and Shops with tags entertainment on March 10, 2009 by JDWe’re lucky to have a great place to get DVDs right here in Boulder Creek. Video 9 has a large and current selection of DVD and Blu-Ray titles and a friendly, knowledgeable staff.
This is a great place to grab the latest title and see what’s new and what is popular (look right above the entranceway for the listing). They have some great “monthly unlimited rental” plans that begin at $20 a month to compete with offerings such as Netflix. Also, this place and the people who work here are “drama free”, which is very much appreciated and can’t be said for a certain competing shop a few miles up the road…..

Hardware – Boulder Creek True Value
Posted in Stores and Shops with tags Boulder Creek, CA on March 3, 2009 by JDBoulder Creek offers two choices for hardware and supplies – True Value and Ace. Both are great stores. Doug and Anne Marie who run True Value are very nice, knowledgeable and they have a great staff. They also tend to have great sidewalk deals on weekends.
Boulder Creek True Value also hosts the annual Lumberjack games in the Spring.
