Artist Spotlight – The Juncos

In preparation for the Boulder Creek Bluegrass and Old Time Festival, we will be featuring interviews with the performing bands. The Festival will be held March 9 and 10 at Scopazzi’s.

American Roots Music -old-time/bluegrass/jug-band/folk/country/honky-tonk/etc

Joshua Lowe – lead vocals/banjo/guitar

Boulder Creek Brewery – Brewmaster

We have some really fine beer made right here in downtown Boulder Creek. Pictured is Michael Demers, the Brewmaster at Boulder Creek Brewery. An SLV native, Michael has been brewing for over 14 years.

The Brewery has good food, killer beer and live bluegrass/mountain tunes on Thursdays and Sundays . . .

The Boulder Creek Rye Pale Ale is a personal recommendation.

Joe’s Bar is really getting some great acts these days. If you haven’t been there lately, we highly recommend checking it out – especially on Saturday nights.

Friday – Tone Wheels at Joe’s Bar. 8:30 midnight, no cover

Saturday – Brian Stow Fundraiser with Folk ‘n A and Acoustic Shadows. Joes Bar 5-?

Sunday – Oddfellows Swap Meet 10-4 in Oddfellows Parking lot $10 a space
Sunday – PASS Studio house concert with Sound Reasoning and Take One. 2-6 pm, $5-10 donation Sunday – Scopazzi’s jazz on the deck with Joy Of Jazz. 5-8 pm, no cover Sunday – Bluegrass at the Boulder Creek Brewery. 7-10 pm. No cover
