From the Santa Cruz county Sherrif:

Arrested: Shields, Kyle Spencer, Age: 32

Arrested: Jepson, Sonia Dawn, Age: 32

Detectives identified and arrested the suspects in the stabbing case that took place in the parking lot at Scopazzi’s Restaurant in Boulder Creek on September 13^th. Detectives got information regarding the suspect vehicle that fled the scene. The description included the vehicle license plate, which was used to later identify the suspects.

Once detectives identified the suspects they obtained arrest warrants for both suspect. On Tuesday, September 22^nd detectives went to the suspects’ residence in San Mateo and arrested both suspects without incident.

Both suspects were transported and booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail. Kyle Shieds was charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon, with a bail of $200,000. Sonia Jepson was also arrested as an Accessory and was also charged with Battery. Her bail is also set at $200,000.
