Anyone know the answer to the question below?

  1. As per Hal Johnson’s 1946 Berkeley Daily Gazette newspaper article, “Stump Town” was the early-1870’s name for what is now called Boulder Creek. It was also called Alcorn, then San Lorenzo, and finally Boulder Creek. Sadly, historical records of these names are difficult to find in Boulder Creek, although pioneer residents alive there during the 1940’s still remembered.
