Boulder Creek Merchant Committee

The Boulder Creek Merchant Committee met last night and it appears to have been a productive evening. A comment from an attendee:

“There is a continued grass roots effort from the Boulder Creek Merchant Committee to continue town beautification. The committee meets the first Wednesday of the month at Round Table Pizza, 6pm to socialize, 6:15 we get down to business.”

If you want to attend, go to Round Table Pizza the first Wednesday evening of each month.

Boulder Creek Antiques

Usually antique stores fall in to 2 categories:

1. easy to get to and overpriced
2. way, way out of the way yet some real gems for a great deal

Boulder Creek Antiques is an exception – they’re right here in town, have an amazing assortment of antiques, handmade crafts and even outdoor sculptures and plants. If you haven’t been there even just to browse, you are missing out. This is a wonderful place to buy a unique item for your home or a gift … at a great price and a nice place to check out during the rainy season.

The Redwood Keg in today’s Santa Cruz Sentinel

Yep, it’s true…. the best sandwiches around are at the RedWood Keg.

Genevieve Bookwalter at the Santa Cruz Sentinel wrote a nice piece on the RedWood Keg. Amazing that the owner’s family has been around here since arriving from Italy in 1929.
