Update: Wendy Rivas

Well, sad to say that the person found this past weekend was Wendy Rivas. The Sheriffs have stated that she was not a victim of any type of foul play. The Sheriff’s Office is still investigating some pre-existing medical conditions that may have been contributing factors in the death of Rivas.

We’re sorry to hear this and wish Wendy’s family all the best.

Police and Fire workers are at the corner of Railroad and Lomond. Right near where Wendy was last seen. One of the officers was carrying a camera.. This isn’t looking good, but we are hoping for the best. Stay tuned.

Wendy may have an injury to her head that needs medical attention.  She was last seen wearing a purple long sleeved shirt and purple pants.

MISSING PERSON ALERT: Wendy Rivas

Late last night Santa Cruz Sheriffs recived a report that Boulder Creek resident, Wendy Rivas, walked out of her home and did not return.

Wendy , who resides on the 13000 block of Highway 9, was last seen wearing purple pants and a purple shirt. She has brown hair with purple and red tips. She is 5 foot 7, weighs about 170 pounds and is 53 years old.

3 teams of Sheriff’s along with K9s searched for her until 4am this morning.
