This is a recording sent to us by a Boulder Creek resident of Bill Laymon, bass player for New Riders of the Purple Sage, the David Nelson Band and others. Bill is a San Lorenzo Valley native and told this story at a recent Bluegrass fest/memorial for Lady Lolita in Bonny Doon.
