This is a fundraiser for the Boulder Creek chapter of the Friends of the Library and the National Alliance on Mental Illness. Proceeds from the sale of the book and baked goods benefit the Friends and NAMI-SC.

Birth of a New Brain, the first book to address bipolar disorder triggered by childbirth, chronicles the journey of a mother who will stop at nothing to survive overwhelming manic highs and soul-shattering depressions to find mental stability.
