Boulder Creek Brewery – Brewmaster
We have some really fine beer made right here in downtown Boulder Creek. Pictured is Michael Demers, the Brewmaster at Boulder Creek Brewery. An SLV native, Michael has been brewing for over 14 years.
The Brewery has good food, killer beer and live bluegrass/mountain tunes on Thursdays and Sundays . . .

The Boulder Creek Rye Pale Ale is a personal recommendation.

NEWS: Boulder Creek Pizza and Pub
The old RoundTable has been reborn – no longer part of the the Round Table Franchise, the new place called “Boulder Creek Pizza & Pub” offers fresh local produce and cheeses, 9 beers on tap and a great outlook on making great pizza.
From the website: “Our lights are on in the morning, hours before we open. Why? Dedicated dough artists rise early to handcraft fresh dough for all of our pizzas. Daily, they prepare fresh sauce, using just vine-ripened tomatoes, spices, and a little salt. No preservatives. No fillers. 100% good.”

Taqueria Los Amigos … Rocks
The Redwood Keg in today’s Santa Cruz Sentinel
Yep, it’s true…. the best sandwiches around are at the RedWood Keg.
Genevieve Bookwalter at the Santa Cruz Sentinel wrote a nice piece on the RedWood Keg. Amazing that the owner’s family has been around here since arriving from Italy in 1929.

Taqueria Los Amigos – Best Food Value in Boulder Creek
Taqueria Los Amigos offers great, fresh mexican faire for a really good price. Fast, courteous service and a huge meal for well under $10. The pickled carrots and salsas are also a nice free extra. Everything is pretty good here – if you want to “splurge” ($9.85) the Camarones Alajilo (Shrimp with Garlic sauce) is a real treat and big enough for two to share.
