Dear Boulder Creek Insider,
I love reading your blog. I am interested in possibly purchasing a home in a Boulder Creek neighborhood. On Google Maps, I’m seeing a trail or road or something called “Cross Loop” and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what it is. Please see my attachment image so you can see what I’m talking about. It is off of Hwy 9 between Cresta Dr. and 2 Bar Road. Any info would be very much appreciated.
Anyone know anything about “Cross Loop”? If so, please comment.

If it’s what I heard described as “Cross Loop” in the past, it’s an unpaved, pretty wide easement across private properties that some local homeowners would clear out of the kindness of their hearts so people could walk it. It actually loops to over by Dorrance at its eastern part, if its the one I’m thinking of. Not sure if it’s still being maintained.

I used to live on Brook. The above poster is correct. It’s basically a hiking trail people in the area use to walk their dogs and take their kids. Very pretty hike.
