We searched and can’t find the answer, so wanted to ask our readers.
We have Barbara Day Park here, it can be a bit of a seedy spot, but is a beautiful resource for Boulder Creek.
Anyone know who Barbara Day is?

Barbara Day ran the BCRP for years. She was the office manager, the secretary and the voice on the phone. She was loved by some and not by others. She loved the BCRP

My husband, Bill Flynn, was commissioned to make that sign, many years ago. Barbara Day worked for the rec center.

Barbara Day ran the Boulder Creek Rec Center for years. She had a true enjoyment of children. Many of our children were in play groups, ours was Buttons & Beaus! Barbara led exercise classes for adults as well. She coordinated a Halloween festival each year. She usually had “treats” in her office for smart kids who knew to go say hi! A warm & lovely lady.

Barbara Day was the heart and soul of the Boulder Creek Parks and Recreation district. She ran the Rec. Center for decades. She remains a close friend of my mom’s to this day.
