ON TAP: Boulder Creek Brewery

We don’t just have a ‘brewery’ in Boulder Creek… we have a KICK A$$ BREWERY and brewmaster.

On Tap in Boulder Creek

From the brewer:

“Louisville Special” is our Kentucky Common, a long forgotten style that made up for almost 80% of beer sales in Kentucky before prohibition. Based on a Bourbon sour mash recipe, this Brown ale is brewed from corn, rye, and molasses, it was sour mashed for a hint of refreshing tartness. Come in and try a taste of beer history.

From the organizers:

DIO Fest is a family-friendly event! This year’s fest will be featuring the environmentally conscious puppet-show of Erin Inglish and her 2014 Earth * Bike * Banjo Tour! Also at DIO Fest are a kids playground, swimming pool and loads of outdoor space to have fun. There will also be an arts & crafts deck for kids. So don’t hesitate to bring the whole family to DIO Fest, just know that unless you have an on-site parking pass you’ll be riding the shuttle up to the fest with the kids!

DIO Fest is committed to having a low carbon foot-print! There will be recycling and solid waste bins everywhere, as well as ashtrays in the designated smoking areas. All festival attendees are encouraged to bring their own mugs & eating utensils to minimize waste from drinks & food. Camp Krem is our home, and therefore we treat like one. Last year we left DIO Fest sparkling clean & beautiful, let’s do it again!

Boulder Creek Brewery: ON TAP

From our resident brewer, Winslow:

We have two new beers for the weekend, for a full 15 beer tap list.

“Red Ribbon Blonde”, our lightest ale, is inspired by the timeless Pilsners of Bohemia and the Czech Republic is made with the organic hops from the Hallertau , and the finest Pilsner malt from Germany. “Dr. Greenthumb” IPA is brewed with New Zealand Green Bullet and Pacific Northwest Zeus hops for an extra dank aroma of pine and tropical fruit. Come and get it while it’s fresh!
