The 4th annual Harvest Festival is here and it is all about local food, drink, music, and artists; as well as being for the locals with information about many local organizations and a demo booth.
There will be hayrides and a bounce house for the children (wristbands are $10 for unlimited access). The adults get a beer and wine garden which is located behind Joe’s Bar and BC Hardware. (wristbands are $15 for a Festival glass and drink, additional drink tickets are $5 for beer and $6 for wine).
Lots of shopping for all with local artists, clothing, food, and more. Music is in three locations this year, see schedule above. There are also two contests to enter Home Brew and Jam Making, check out the website for entry forms and prizes.
There are a few more volunteers needed, so if you can help out with this event please check out the link below or email SCMHARVEST@GMAIL.COM directly.
When: Every Saturday from 12noon – 4pm
Where: in the Oddfellows parking lot, corner of Forest & Pine Street Map
And while the Harvest Festival is filling the east side of town, our Farmers Market will be filling the west side of town. It should be a larger then usual farmers market, with more produce and artists. Below are a few pictures from last year to show you what we might get to see this year.
